East Hanover K of C, Council No. 6504Minutes from Meeting on 25 January 2010 · Meeting started at 8:02 PM, 27 Members in attendance · Officers Role Call – All in attendance or excused · Minutes from last meeting (11 January 2010) not read · Monday, 8 Feb will be 1st Degree at St. Rose o Council has 2 prospective members, other Councils interested as well · Spelling Bee on Sat, 6 Feb 2010 @ 10 AM o Event is planned, Gifts/Prizes are purchased, Proof of Insurance are addressed · Wives Appreciation Night on Sat, 6 Feb from 7 -11 PM @ Ravello’s o Have to sell Tickets o Have some gifts and door prizes already o Andy L . still working with L’Oreal on gifts, but it may not happen · Friday, 29 January is Bishop’s Night @ OLM in Whippany o Will make a $150 donation – Ron and Neale will attend · Pancake Breakfast on 28 Feb 2010 in Fahey Hall o Menu has been set – working with Chris V on supplies § Will see if we can get crumb cakes donated by Sorrento o Tony G to print up 150 tickets for event o Equipment – Andy to follow-up with Carl Vidal on Rotary equipment o Publicity § Flyers have been printed – need to get in more places around town § Fred D will try and get an ad in Beacon o Gym reserved on Sat night, 27 Feb § Andy to coordinate with volunteers on setup, working event and cleanup · St. Patrick’s Dance on 13 March o John M and Chris V are co-chairs o Entertainment will be booked by Chris V in early Feb o Super 50/50 § Waiting on Approval from town – Ron to follow-up o Big Pots from Fire Department have been requested o Idea for Placards – advertising that can be sold – John Tomasulo o More details reviewed at next meeting on 8 Feb · Thank You letter from Donation to group in Tennessee o Thanks again to Greg D’Onofrio · Treasurer’s Report o No update · Financial Secretary Report o Activity Report to Supreme to be submitted o 17 Advertisers unpaid – will follow up · 1st/2nd Degree on Mon, 15 Feb @ St. Virgil’s in Morris Plains o Chris V to coordinate with the Degree Team · District Deputy Report o Discussed St. Rose Council aim for Star Council o Discussed several degrees and other meetings o Discussed 4th Degree on Sun, 23 April 2010 o Discussed State Convention on 14-16 May 2010 · Good of Order · Meeting Closed @ 8:50 PM
