Minutes from Meeting on 8 March 2010
· Meeting started at 8:05 PM, 27 Members in attendance
· Officers Role Call – All in attendance or excused
· Minutes from last meeting (22 Feb 2010) were read briefly
· Membership Update – Star Council Status
o 1 for Members, 5 for Insurance
o Planning on a First Degree in April, 2010
· Pancake Breakfast Re-Cap – Andy Liebhauser
o Made $575 profit. Goal was $500 for the equipment for special needs child from town, so very pleased
o Thanks you to all Brothers that attended and assisted, especially Frank and John for their efforts cooking the Pancakes and Sausage
o Learned some good lessons for next time.
· St. Patrick’s Day Dinner/Dance – Chris Virginio
o Around 150 tickets sold as of today
o Entertainment, Food, Drink all arranged
o Des to pickup Irish Soda Bread. Cakes have been ordered and will be picked up Saturday
o Idea for decorations for Green or White Table cloths, with Balloons
o Setup scheduled for 11:30 AM on Saturday. Prep, Serve and Cleanup crews are needed
· Super 50/50
o Around 300 tickets sold as of today (total is 400)
o In good shape, but want to sell all. Will push for rest of week and night of event
· Donation of Roses to newly Baptized
o Joe Carvagno has donated roses to Mother and Godmother for baptisms
o This program was recognized and well received
o Deacon Vinnie will provide the schedule of Baptisms
o Joe Carvagno is looking for assistance in coverage – there are 4 Baptisms for this Sunday
· Treasurer’s Update
o Update on results of last events
§ Wives Appreciation - $225 profit
§ Spelling Bee - $275 cost
o All dues have been deposited that have been received
· Financial Secretary Update
o Arrangements for NJ Council Meeting
o Updates to Phone List with new member’s Wife name

§ Candidates have been identified and contacted

o Date for Mass in the Park

o Handicapped Citizen’s Drive is set for 22-25 April, 2010

§ Looking for workers for Sorrento’s and Espositos for Palm Sunday and week after -> sign-up sheet submitted
